Inka Crops is a Peruvian company created in 1998. With its focus on exportation, one of its main goals was taking to every corner in the world the richness of Incan gastronomy in the form of snacks. According to this, the company developed its brands and lines of products, leaning on the quality, diversity and origin of the raw materials used as a distinctive value.
The project covered the comprehensive development of naming, graphic identity of the brand and packaging for its line of Peruvian snacks and mixes. Thus, a premium global brand that transmitted the pure Peruvian essence of the product and its natural and healthy quality had to be created.
The naming Andes is direct, bilingual and it quickly locates the product’s origin. With an intense color palette that codifies the line, the packaging design has details and graphic resources that reminds us of the typical travel journals made by many of the tourists travelling around Peru and the altiplano of Latin America every year. Stamps, drawings, maps and local pictures help to reinforce the idea of adventures and experiences, while connecting with the place of origin of each piece of raw material. The design assigns each pack an individual voice and the line is perceived as a unit.
